The City of Nottinghams Premier Conference Venue


The Albert Hall is Located in the idyllic Castle Zone part of the City Centre, some of the architecture in the vicinity is amongst the finest in the City, and this upmarket area is highly desirable being only 2 minutes walk from Nottingham City Centres vibrant hub - The Old Market Square and yet retaining a peaceful and relaxing ambiance associated with Wellington Circus.



Main Entrance is Located on North Circus Street (One Way), Opposite St Barnabas Cathedral and Adjacent to Nottingham Playhouse. Access is gained via Large dark wooden double doors labeled Entrance 1 or 2 above the door. A Large wide stone and Marble Staircase of 13 steps leads down to the Ground floor Reception Area

Accessible Entrance is located directly off the Maid Marion Way round about adjacent to the Royal Bank of Scotland. Access is gained via a small ramp leading to a level entrance labeled Entrance 4 above the Door. An intercom is provided at the base of the ramp, where access can be requested. Traveling By Car

Use M1 Junction 24, or 25 (South) or 26 Junction (North) and follow signs for the City Centre.

Park and Ride

We have partnered with NET – The local tram network, and are able to offer a £2.50 park and ride return deal. The nearest tram stop is Royal Centre which is just a short walk from the Albert Hall. The closest park and ride is The Forest NG7 6AQ which takes approximately 7 minutes travel time. Please Click Here for further Park and Ride locations.

Simply select the 'Event Ticket' option at any tram stop ticket machine and make sure you have a printed ticket for the event you are attending with you. Failing to have both of these tickets will result in a penalty fare. Should you have any issues with the ticket machine, use the help point to put you in direct contact with the NET customer service team.

If you are attending a Conference or Meeting, please contact the organiser of the event or the Albert Hall Conference Centre before you travel, in order to obtain a voucher.

Car Parking

Metered Street Parking is available, cheaper tariffs can be found in Zone 2 areas near the Albert Hall on, College St and The Ropewalk. The charging period is between the hours of 8am and 8pm and the tariff is variable, Click Here for current charges.

Secure Parking We have secured reduced day and 24hr rates for two nearby multi story car parks. NCP St James Street and NCP Nottingham City on Mount Street. Both these car parks are within easy walking distance. Patrons of the Albert Hall can park at this car park where you will receive a ticket. This can then be validated on your arrival at the Albert Hall reception.

Loading / UnLoading Is achieved via our Main Entrance and Great Hall access on North Circus Street. There is also flat access to the rear of the venue off the Maid Marion way Roundabout. For Artic Lorry's and other large commercial vehicles, permits may be obtained from Nottingham City Council - further details available on request.

Public Transport

15 Minute walk or 5 minute Taxi / Tram Journey from Nottingham Train Station.
Use M1 Junction 25 (South) or 26 (North) and follow signs for the City Centre.
5 Minute walk from stops at either Old Market Square or the Royal Centre.
5 Minute walk from Old Market Square, 15 minute walk from Victoria and Broadmarsh Bus Station.
Use the Nottingham Skylink service from East Midlands Airport (45 Minutes) alight at the Friar Lane Stop, then 4 Minute Walk to The Albert Hall Conference centre.
