The Albert Hall is Located in the idyllic Castle Zone part of the City Centre, some of the architecture in the vicinity is amongst the finest in the City, and this upmarket area is highly desirable being only 2 minutes walk from Nottingham City Centres vibrant hub - The Old Market Square and yet retaining a peaceful and relaxing ambiance associated with Wellington Circus.
Main Entrance is Located on North Circus Street (One Way), Opposite St Barnabas Cathedral and Adjacent to Nottingham Playhouse. Access is gained via Large dark wooden double doors labeled Entrance 1 or 2 above the door. A Large wide stone and Marble Staircase of 13 steps leads down to the Ground floor Reception Area.
Accessible Entrance is located directly off the Maid Marion Way round about adjacent to the Royal Bank of Scotland. Access is gained via a small ramp leading to a level entrance labeled Entrance 4 above the Door. An intercom is provided at the base of the ramp, where access can be requested. Once alerted a member of our team will open the door and are happy to assist if required.
Metered Street Parking is available opposite the main entrance on North Circus Street, and on the neighbouring streets. The charging period is between the hours of 8am and 8pm and the tariff is variable, Click Here for current charges.
Secure Parking We have secured preferential rates for 3 near by multi story car parks, these are Talbot Street Car park, Mount Street and St James Street Car park which are all within easy walking distance. Patrons of the Albert Hall can park at any of these car parks where you will receive a ticket or token. This can then be validated on your arrival at the Albert Hall reception.
Loading / UnLoading Is achieved via our Main Entrance and Great Hall access on North Circus Street. There is also flat access to the rear of the venue off the Maid Marion way Roundabout. For Artic Lorry's and other large commercial vehicles, permits may be obtained from Nottingham City Council - further details available on request.
Use M1 Junction 25 (South) or 26 (North) and follow signs for the City Centre. Where possible Avoid Using M1 Junctions 23a 24 and 24a (A453) as these are often heavily congested.
